Follow the path of widow and raven
To a realm in the womb of the forest
A fortress black with the sorrow of time
And a name forgotten to memory

The meeting of frost and fire
Creates a mist that sinks to the ground
The base is stone of black marble
On the gates are portents of sorcery

The cavernous halls are empty of life
No servants for the lord of this hall
He lives alone in this nest of fog
And takes his pray by the light of day
A maze of darkness and anguish
Of corridors laden with the passing of time
His despair is infinite…tortuous
He makes them pay for losing their way

Dressed in shadow of night
His presence stems from an unquiet grave
His voice is the grating of a dying heart

Blindness enveloped my mind as I see this fortress loom above me
Ravens circle the tallest spires, nightmares flow from open windows
Phantoms serve the lord of this hall; his is the fate of the powerful damned
The screams of the long dead echo and the rags they leave are blown by the wind
His love was buried alive in this place, birth to an immortal passion

Follow the light of the moon through the trees
A path that is made by demons and imps
To a home that is bathed in misery
And a love that is remembered in pain

The life that was here is twisted to make
The curse that ever follows him
His soul is black as he gave it in offering
To ensure his love would live forever
